Pickle in his new home in Devon with owners Cathie and Graham Dyne. Pickle, a deaf collie cross lurcher puppy given up by his previous owners has been found a new home by Blue Cross in time for Christmas. See SWNS story SWMDdog. His previous owners who bought him from a breeder, didn?t know he was deaf, wanted to keep him but the other pets in their home sadly rejected poor Pickle. Born unable to hear a sound, Pickle must have been so overwhelmed and confused by the world. By the time the puppy was just three months old, he found himself in Blue Cross care, having already known two homes. Desperate to ensure he was safe and would have the bright future he so very deserved, they brought him to our Southampton rehoming centre. Pickle had already missed out on so much in his short little life due to his disability, so it was crucial to place him in foster care for him to learn and develop in a home environment.

Most gondoskodó környezetben él, imád a tengerparton sétálni és a gazdáival összebújni. „Olyan aranyos – amikor mellé ülünk, a mancsait a kezünkre teszi, mintha megölelne minket” – mondja új gazdája.
